Today we celebrated the Arts day of St.John's Model HSS. Also the literary club was inaugurated.

The deputy commissioner in CGST Smt. Anjana.S.Kumar IRS inaugurated the literary association. The renowned popular beat boxer Ms. Ardhra Sajan inaugurated the Arts club.

Anjana ma'am highlighted the importance of reading. Ms Ardhra gave us a wonderful performance and graced the occasion.


Later we, BEd trainees put makeup to the dancers. Also we arranged the gifts  for the winners of various competitions conducted by us.


After noon, many students performed and revealed their talents. Megha from Natural science and respected HM sang the duet song അമ്പലപ്പുഴേ ഉണ്ണിക്കണ്ണനോടു നീ..


After all the performances, we distributed gifts to the winners 🏆. 


We left the school by 3.15 pm.

  Sallying Forth to a New Journey    22/11/2021   Today is a special day in my life as it is my first day at Mar Theophilus Training College. A perfect beginning....  The day started with a prayer and as a newcomer I was lucky to get an inspirational class by an all rounder Dr. G. V. Hari. His words and thoughts acted as an energiser to provide a good start off to my journey to be a good teacher. He  made us familiar with some words like energiser, vigilent, introspection, allegory etc.            Session by M. Ed interns M. Ed interns had grouped us for poster making competition and I was with social science batch and our topic was gender equality.  Inspiring session by Joju sir   Joju sir is a man with many positive thoughts. He uses simple examples and motivates us.  Yet another beautiful day and today it was all about my visit to Guru Gopinath ,Natanagramam, Vattiyoorkavu . I really felt lucky to get a chance to visit the splendid & artistic dance museum. We started off from after prayer and a small message from our principal. We went there in a school bus and reached our destination by 10.40am. The Guru Gopinath Natanagramam has been established as a centre for learning, training and research in various Indian Dance forms, particularly Kerala Natanam, the dance form composed by the maestro Guru Gopinath. The institution carries on the attempts initiated by the Guru to popularise the dance forms of Kerala and to find fresh talents.  We really got an awesome chance to explore the dance gallery. I  could know more about different cultures, dance forms, the ornaments used and so on.  We also got an opportunity to see a documentary on  THEYYAM in the new 5D theatre.  Later we had a presentation session by Dr. Sajeev Nair.
