Phase 1 Final Week

The final days of teaching practice is nearing. I am busy with my Achievement test in 8A followed by Diagnostic test.

On 17th February I took a physical education class on 9A about health, 3 types - physical, mental and social health.

In the second hour, I accompanied Arunima to 8A and took the video of her health education class. Fourth period I had class in 9A where I taught wave motion.

On 34th day, during  the second hour, all of us went to 8A and happily shared our token of love to our students - chocolates, sweets and  a pen. In the interval time we distributed sweets and chocolates in 9A also.

In the third hour, Riya and me had class observation by Neena ma'am in 9A. We did team teaching on the chapter Allotropes of Carbon..

In the afternoon session, fifth hour, we conducted conscientisation programme - Stressed Out??? Let's Free Our Mind...in 9A. The class was handled by Riya, Anju and myself. The introduction part on definition of stress and stress management was handled by Anju. Riya and myself handled the techniques for stress management. The whole session was activity oriented. In the end we collected feedback from students.

24th February marks the last day of our training. As usual, I reached the school by 8 am and signed the attendance register at principal's office. Then after the morning prayer, we gave our feedback form to principal.

Today the school organised a fire and safety awareness class lead by Kerala fire and rescue services. And that was an informative class.

In the afternoon session all of us were busy completing our last moment duties and works in the school. We got our record signed by the principal, Dr. James Sir.

We also expressed our heartfelt thanks to all our teachers, staffs, principal, vice principal for their support, guidance and consideration given to us.

In the last hour, 9A arranged a farewell, presented a video with some memorable pics.

At the end of the day, we took a group photo with the principal and closed our attendance register.

It was hard to say goodbye to all our students. Sarvodaya has taught me many lessons, improved myself and my teaching career. It was wonderful experience.
