Phase 1 Week 3

16th January marks the 8th day of my teaching practice. I reached the school at 8:00 am and signed the attendance register .I had class at 9A and I continued the  chapter with the help of ICT. 6th and 7th period of got substitution duty at 3D and 4F respectively. I engaged the class with some games and exercises. Went to 8A on 5th period where we gave Yoga commands to the students. 



On 17th January, I had YOGA exam. In the 2nd and 3rd hour, I engaged in practicing yoga as we had evaluation today. In the 4th hour I had substitution at 5C. Students sang songs and also engaged the class by playing games.

In the afternoon session, in the 6th hour George sir came for our yoga class evaluation- Anju, Annu ,Drishya and myself had the test. 6 students from 8A were selected for the same. I was asked to take the main part for demonstration. I did Pranayama and taught it to the students.


January 18th marked the 10th day. I went to observe class at 9A in the first and second hour. It was Anju's class and she started new chapter Proportion. Joju sir and Deepthi ma'am came for class observation in the second hour.



On 19th January, we had a sudden visit by our dear principal of our college. By 10:30 am our principal,   Dr. K Y Benedict sir came for observation and observed Fr. Sujith's class. Sir also signed and verified our lesson templates.

A perfect beginning....  The day started with a prayer and as a newcomer I was lucky to get an inspirational class by an all rounder Dr. G. V. Hari. A day full of energy...

    07/01/2022 Today's first hour began with the optional classes. We had Dona ma'am and she taught us about scientific method and the steps of scientific method. It includes different steps like finding a question then researching, formulating a hypothesis and testing of hypothesis. Analyzing , concluding and sharing of results. Then Neena ma'am further explained on scientific attitude, literacy etc. Next is my  favorite session - the arts class conducted by Reju sir. He gave a very interesting class on art and theater couldn't tell how time fly by. Many interesting games were also played of which I liked PAZHAM,PAPPADAM,CHAI game. Afternoon session M.Ed interns took classes on Spearman's two factor theory, child centered and life centered education and about secularism and education.
