Intense Teaching Practice Day 1

Today marks the first day of my intense teaching practice phase 1.The school alloted to me was Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, Nalanchira.There I got the opportunity to teach in 8A and 9A students. I needed to teach both physics and chemistry to the students. 

Twelve of us, two from each optional was alloted to the school. I was the team leader and the assistant leader was Megha, Natural Science. On the very first day, all of us reached the school at 8 am and headed towards the principal's office. We met the principal, handed over the official letter and attendance register from our college. Principal, James sir wished us great days ahead.


For 8A, I was assigned to Shalet ma'am and .There I had to teach chemistry chapters water and polymers. In 9A I was assigned to Aswathy ma'am and Biji ma'am.

The school was busy preparing for the 50th annual day celebrations. I also got substitution at 5G and 7C today. The classes ended at 3 pm, we signed the attendance register and left the school by 3:40 pm.

A day full of energy...

    07/01/2022 Today's first hour began with the optional classes. We had Dona ma'am and she taught us about scientific method and the steps of scientific method. It includes different steps like finding a question then researching, formulating a hypothesis and testing of hypothesis. Analyzing , concluding and sharing of results. Then Neena ma'am further explained on scientific attitude, literacy etc. Next is my  favorite session - the arts class conducted by Reju sir. He gave a very interesting class on art and theater couldn't tell how time fly by. Many interesting games were also played of which I liked PAZHAM,PAPPADAM,CHAI game. Afternoon session M.Ed interns took classes on Spearman's two factor theory, child centered and life centered education and about secularism and education.
